Ride to the new Batang Sadong Bridge

During the last Hari Raya holiday, my friends and I had a day ride to the newly completed Batang Sadong Bridge. However, we were not the first to be there. I’m not sure whether this is the longest bridge in Sarawak but the length is 1.48km.

It was officially opened on 18 December 2016 by Datuk Sri Najib Abdul Razak and it cost 231 millions. The bridge is connecting Asajaya and Simunjan.

I went there by bike together with my two other friends. They’ve been here before but not me. So I think, I was the only person feeling excited that day. Hehehe!

After selfie, we moved on to Simunjan town. The journey took about 30 minutes from the bridge by bike. I’m not sure how long it will take if by car.

Emmm…nothing much had changed. But this town will be crowded on Sunday and its fish market is very popular I heard.

Orait then, till we meet again.
